Thanks for visiting our site.
In 1991 we were given the incredible privilege to plant this incredible Church on the beautiful warm East Coast of New Zealand. Within a few years it rapidly grew to hundreds and today Church ministries are helping people discover a higher quality of life as they apply the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Everyone has potential because they were created in the image of God.
Therefore we are passionate about helping people discover the amazing destiny God has for their lives which is unlocked as they connect to the Church and learn how to live according to Kingdom principles.
I believe the Churches role in the community must be beyond just spiritual ministry on a Sunday.
I believe the Church must also have a significant ongoing social and economic ministry to its community as well.
To this end House of Breakthrough has a 20 year social and economic development plan for Tairawhiti which affects areas of housing, education, health, social justice, employment and reconciliation relationally and culturally.
Pastor Norms ministry
Pastor Norm operates in a strong Apostolic and prophetic anointing that is often evidenced by incredible signs and wonders such as healings and miracles.
He does not believe he can heal people but he believes when people operate in faith they can release the healing power of Christ into any impossible situation. He has seen blind, deaf and crippled people healed and has testimonies of people who claim to have been healed of cancers and tumors.
Pastor Norm is a “Kingdom revolutionary” and is intent on raising up many other Kingdom activists who will live radically but wisely for the cause of Christ and His Kingdom in our time in history.
His ministry is responsible for helping ignite incredible growth of Kingdom Churches in India which have gone from hundreds to thousands as they learn how to operate in Kingdom principles.
He is connected with other great Kingdom Churches and Apostles nationally and globally.
Pastor Jessies ministry
Over the years Pastor Jess has ministered in every area of Church ministry from starting children's ministries to discipling leaders of significant ministries.
Through her keen insight of the word of God and gift of wisdom she is able to help people to relate Christ and His words to their everyday life.
Pastor Jess has soft but powerfully convicting ministry that helps people turn the spiritual theory into practical reality. She is a regular speaker at Church services and women's meetings.
Why the name "House of Breakthrough"?
As they have helped hundreds of people apply Christ's teachings to their lives they have consequentially seen hundreds of people experience breakthroughs in marriages, families, as well as physically, mentally and financially.
Because so many people have found personal breakthrough in their lives through following Christ’s teachings Pastor Norm thought it fitting to call the Church "House of Breakthrough"!
